What we arrange

Take the whole trip or only the parts you need.

Umrah planning

We start with your dates, who is travelling and how you like to travel. From there we advise on the right visa route for your passport, how to divide your nights between Makkah and Madinah, and how to pace the days so that there is energy left for worship.

Umrah in Ramadan

The most rewarded Umrah of the year, and the one that needs the most care. Which part of the month you travel in, and how far your hotel is from the mosque, shape the whole experience.

Planning Umrah in Ramadan

Hotels in Makkah and Madinah

From rooms overlooking the Haram to comfortable hotels a short walk or shuttle away. We tell you plainly how far each one is from the mosque in minutes on foot, and what that walk is like after Isha with elderly parents.

Every stay is booked with a licensed hotel, so that it is recognised for your visa and your Nusuk record.

Airport and intercity transport

Private cars and family vehicles from Jeddah or Madinah airport, and between the two cities, with licensed operators. If you would rather take the Haramain high speed railway, we plan the journey and the transfers either side of it.

Ziyarah

Guided visits in both cities, at a pace that suits your group.

In Madinah: Masjid Quba, Masjid al-Qiblatayn, and Uhud and the graves of its martyrs. In Makkah: Jabal al-Nour, Jabal Thawr, and the sites of Hajj at Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat.

Permits and the Rawdah

Umrah permits and visits to the Rawdah are booked through the Nusuk app. We show you how to secure them and build your itinerary around the times you are given.

Flights

We do not sell flights. We advise on routes, airports and arrival times that suit your itinerary, and you book directly with the airline.

How it works

  1. Enquiry

Tell us your dates, your group and what you would like us to arrange.

  2. Proposal

You receive a written itinerary with a clear quotation. There is nothing to pay at this stage and no pressure to proceed.

  3. Confirmation

Once you are happy, we confirm your bookings and send your documents in one place.

  4. Travel

You travel with a full itinerary and a team you can message while you are away.

If you are travelling for Hajj

During Hajj, your hotels, transport and camps are part of your Nusuk package and cannot be arranged separately.

The services on this page are for Umrah. For Hajj, we help you choose the package whose hotels and camps suit you best.

How our Hajj service works

Worth knowing before you plan

  • Umrah is not possible in the weeks around Hajj without a Hajj permit
  • Ramadan and the school holidays are the busiest and most expensive times
  • Hotels nearest the Haram are reserved early for the last ten nights of Ramadan
  • A valid meningitis ACWY vaccination certificate is required

Questions

Can you arrange only part of my trip?

Yes. Some pilgrims want everything planned. Others have their flights and need only a hotel, transfers or a day of ziyarah.

Which visa do I need for Umrah?

It depends on your passport and how you are travelling. Many British passport holders travel on a Saudi eVisa. Others need an Umrah visa that is issued together with their hotel and transport bookings. We confirm the right route for you before anything is booked.

Can I perform Umrah during the Hajj season?

No. In the weeks around Hajj, entry to Makkah is limited to pilgrims who hold a Hajj permit.

Does a woman need a mahram to travel?

Saudi regulations allow women to travel for Umrah without a mahram. Scholars differ on the religious ruling, so we suggest taking advice from a scholar you trust.

How is payment handled?

You receive a written quotation first, with the payment terms set out in it. No payment is taken through this website.

Where can I learn how Umrah is performed?

Our pilgrim's guide sets out the rites step by step.
